Cuprous Cyanide

Cuprous Cyanide is an inorganic compound which physically appears as an off white solid which is commonly useful as a catalyst, in electroplating copper and as a reagent in the preparation of nitriles. It has a chemical formula CCuN with a molecular mass of 89.56 grams per mol. This solid compound has a density 2.92 grams per milliliters and zero solubility in water and alcohol. It can be used in laboratories, industrial manufacturing and as an antifoaming and dispersion agent.
